Models are not that well painted as last RoS. It is because I don’t have much time for painting my own models, and I use only fast techniques. Wonderful bases are from Tabletop-Art. I’ve painted all Housguard Halabardiers the same day ; )
Very tiny models, nice to paint. My aim was to make colors faded, but still with contrasts. Tolkien style! Lovely to paint.
Showtime! I tested my new aibrush templates, so I grabed a rhino from my bits box (it is common to find full models there even whole armies :), and after couple of hours here You are. There will be a lot of fun with new vehicles =). I can sell the rhino for 50gbp, if You are interested, pm.
My first steps in evil-looking models. I took much care to make skin tone like from horror movie. On the other hand I didn’t want to limit myself in color palette, so models are still colorful. Also photos were worked-out in a different way then usually. Can’t wait to get more models ; )
This model is almost done, but still needs a few details. Howerver I will not publish more photos, as I’ll ship it soon. It looks pretty cool at the game board, but painting was hard, with so many ornament surfaces (even painting neat black is a challange) By the way, I finally get my aibrush templates, so be prepared for something cool = )
Spinned Beast Slaanesh Chariot
Maybe the best model I have ever painted, but for sure the one I am very proud of. I used old metal Grom’s chariot’s basket from wfb goblins. Base from Scibor. And it is just the beginning for a whole WFB Slaanesh force, second chariot in progress.
I am not a big fan of weather effects and realistic painting, however I aspire to became all-purpose artist. So I tried additional shadings and scratched armor plates. Soon I am going to paint rusty Chaos Space Marines Squad of Nurgle, using new 6th edition models :).
This is my second serious freehand after the one for Dark Eldars Treasure Hunters army and since feedback is positive I will make more.More
Techniques used to paint this model are very simple so it’s like do it your self tutorial movie. To achieve this effect on your model it’s necessary to fallow steps in correct order more than having skills and experience.
